This organization’s sole purpose is to support the band programs for the Blue House schools; Plainfield South High School, Aux Sable, and Drauden Point Middle Schools. It is directed by an executive board made up of elected officers, committee chairs, volunteers, and band directors.

The Boosters cannot function well without volunteers! You have the ability to help make our organization great and, in turn, make the band great. Opportunities exist for you to make tax-deductible charitable contributions to the PSHS Band Boosters. If you are interested, please contact any member of the band boosters Executive Board.
Meetings are the second (2nd) Tuesday of every month in the band room!

The Blue House Band Boosters will be electing officers for the 2024-2024 School Year during the May 2024 General Meeting on Tuesday May 7that 7:30 in the PSHS Band Room.
Who can vote? Current Blue House Band Booster Members, one vote per family. Band families who have not yet joined as members, can join for 2023-2024 in advance of the vote using this link:

Plainfield South High School Band Announcements
● The spring mailing was sent home via email on 4/9/24, which includes the dates for rehearsals and performance.
○ Families are encouraged to enter these into their calendars.
● Drumline, color guard, and leadership workshops start next week.
● Reminder for Senior families: you must be a current member of the Boosters to apply for one of the senior scholarships, and have been a member last school year as well.
○ Applications are due 4/19/24
● Summer camp scholarship information was posted today in the students’ Google Classroom.

HOW WE HELP
The Boosters provide assistance to the band in many ways.
- Band uniform fitting and altering
- Moving equipment for performances
- Chaperoning trips
- Assembling equipment for band use such as director’s scaffolding
The Boosters also help raise money for the band to use every year to buy/replace/repair many needed items.
