About Us!
General Information
The Blue House Band Boosters are a Non-Profit, 501( c)(3) organization composed of band parent/guardian volunteers along with the band directors and was created to:
- Support the goals and objectives of the band program as set forth by the Band Directors.
- Provide financial support for the band programs (Plainfield South High School and Aux Sable and Drauden Point Middle Schools)
- Assist the directors, staff and the students with administrative and logistical support
- Encourage the interest of the school district and the community, as a whole, toward the Plainfield South High School Band
- Unite the members of the organization, band members, Band Directors, and administration in the bonds of good fellowship
Every band and color guard student benefits from the Band Booster’s activities and fundraising and every parent/guardian has talents and gifts that can benefit our students. We encourage all family members to get involved!
You can do this by:

- Volunteering To Help
We need volunteers year-round to serve in club leadership, chaperone
activities, serve water on game days, help with fundraisers, organize uniforms,
work in concession stands, move props and more. Check out our Calendar or
Volunteer page for opportunities.
- Supporting Our Fundraisers
Whether you bring friends and family to our marching invitational, buy a spirit
wear item from one of our Booster shops, work the concession stands, or
donate to our organization, every bit of help goes a long way. Helping to
locate donations and sponsors are critical to the success of our fundraisers.
- Becoming A Sponsor
The Booster Club is a registered 501( c)(3) non-profit organization so your
(or your company’s) sponsorship may be tax deductible. See our levels of
sponsorship on our Store Page.
Meetings
General Band Booster meetings are held monthly. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Plainfield South HS Band room unless otherwise communicated (see our Calendar).

Students must submit completed applications to the band directors by the communicated deadline (in the Spring semester).
The Boosters also offer financial assistance in the form of lessons and music camp scholarships to Booster Member families. Communication from our directors is sent during the spring semester with application and deadline information. This is applicable to High School as well as Middle School Booster Member families.
